“I have been working as a pediatric speech-language pathologist since 2014 at a PreK-12th grade special education school. There I have gained clinical experience working with students diagnosed with behavioral disorders such as emotionally disturbed, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. I also work with students diagnosed with autism, cognitive delays and/or communication impairments.
I recognize the importance of meeting each client’s individual needs, collaborating with families, and creating a comfortable environment to encourage language development. I enjoy developing fun and practical lessons for my clients to encourage participation and excitement about speech therapy. I am PROMPT trained, and often incorporate this tactile-kinesthetic approach to speech sound production.
I currently reside in Chatham, NJ where I am lucky enough to live close to my nephew and three nieces.
I look forward to working with children at the Therapy Garage to develop the skills necessary to communicate effectively in their environment.”

“Working as a Speech Language Pathologist for over 20 years, I began my career working in a variety of pediatric settings in NYC. My background includes the Therapeutic Nursery at The Jewish Federation of Children and Family Services. There I gained extensive experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, apraxia of speech, and language based learning disorders. I also provided home-based therapy and evaluations for Early Intervention through YAI/Lifestart Program. After continued work and training, I opened my own practice providing services for children with numerous developmental delays, motor speech disorders and specializing in treating children with oral-motor speech and feeding disorders.
Following the birth of my first child, I moved to NJ and worked at wonderful private practices including Westfield Pediatric Therapy Center and Creative Speech Solutions in Summit , NJ. I continue to treat many young children in their homes both privately and through Early Intervention and most recently joined The Therapy Garage. I am extensively trained in all areas of articulation remediation including oral-motor and PROMPT.
Our speech language pathologists are trained to evaluate and address a wide variety of communication impairments including: early language/communication delays, articulation, phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, motor speech disorders (apraxia, dysarthria), oral-motor/feeding issues and social/communication issues associated with autism spectrum disorders.
We offer full comprehensive speech-language evaluations. Individualized therapy sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length depending on the needs of the child. Treatment plans are devised to meet the goals of the child and family. Caregivers will learn new ways to implement and carryover skills within the home.Type your paragraph here.
