If you are an OT, PT or SLP who is licensed in NJ or plans to be licensed in NJ, The Therapy Garage is committed to employing skilled professionals who are invested in the success of children.  Please contact us to discuss opportunities if you want to become a part-time or full time member of a progressive, child centered team.

If you are a therapist who wants to begin your private practice, but lack the resources to do so, please contact us to discuss renting our space by the treatment session.  We understand that many skilled professionals have the desire to “get started” and provide private treatment in a clinic and we welcome the opportunity to help you, please contact us to discuss.

Volunteers/Observation Hours
As a former fieldwork educator, Karen understands that it is difficult for students interested in an OT career to find a facility that will allow students observe.  The Therapy Garage staff also appreciates the importance of privacy of our clients and families.  For this reason, our ability to allow volunteers and observation hours is limited.  If you are interested in completing observation hours with us, please complete the Observation Hours Request Form and submit it to us for review.

 
Schools Seeking Fieldwork Placements
Fieldwork experiences, what many professions call internships, are vital to the education of future occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants. As a former fieldwork educator, Karen understands the importance of high quality fieldwork experiences for future OT professionals. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer Level I or Level II fieldwork opportunities for college and universities at this time. We hope that this will change in the near future.
